We hope to conclude by noon so you can be on your way home before too late. I would ask that at the meeting each college would give a brief report on their college, its strength and weakness. We will also discuss the possibility of hosting the York Rite Sovereign College General Assembly in 2027 in New York State.

The dress for the day should be tux for Officers or dark suit for Companion Knights.
If you are an officer and can not attend, contact the Governor so a substitute can be notified.

Reminder, Payment of YOUR 2024-2025 DUES of $25.00 is now past due. If you do not have a dues card thru 31 May 2025 you owe current dues. If you have any questions concerning your dues please contact the Secretary.

Manhattan College is on Facebook

Manhattan College has set up a Facebook page. To join, go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/manhattan210 and click on the +Invite button. You will be verified and if a member of the York Rite, given access.

The College met on Saturday, October 7, when Stenrick Adams, Deputy Governor, presented the College with a flag and a gavel.

The College approved the setting up of a Committee to design a bespoke tie and bowtie for the College. Since we are a daylight College, it was decided that members would wear a dark suit, and Officers a black jacket and striped pants similar to English daylight Lodges.

A photograph was taken to commemorate the 70% attendance at the October meeting.

15th Annual Masters & Wardens Golf Tournament

Another Masonic Golf Tournament is in the books!

On Saturday 14 teams representing 5 Lodges competed for the #1 Good Team Trophy with a new winner claiming the trophy, MacNeer Waffle House, representing Oneonta Lodge.

We all enjoyed the fellowship, golf, food and banter that goes along with a good golf outing. Only one complaint, no one found a ball in the woods with TED marked on it! I would like to thank all those who sponsored a hole, donated their winnings back to the cause and helped with the sign in ( Tom Fransisco and Pat Sherry ). Also a big thanks to Alex Brannan who was visiting his Dad in Canada as he takes care of the financial aspects of the tournament. I hope that next year we can get all the Lodges to sponsor a hole and even participate in the tournament. Thanks to Colonial Ridge Golf and the Waffle family for their continued support of our event.

Grand Matron Visit 2024

Otsego-Schoharie District Officers of The Order of the Eastern Star, State of New York, had their Grands Official visit on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Quality Inn, Oneonta. Karen Prager, Grand Representative to South Carolina; David Story, Grand Trustee; Faye Munson, Grand Representative to Illinois; Gale Lindroth, District Deputy Grand Matron; and Bruce Van Buren, District Grand Lecturer. In attendance were 84 members of the organization enjoying friendships, camaraderie, and a delicious luncheon.
